By accessing or using MalScan, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

MalScan provides file analysis tools designed to help users identify potentially malicious, suspicious, or benign files. Results are informational only and do not guarantee that a file is safe or malicious with complete certainty.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You may use the service with or without authentication where supported. If you create or use an account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for activity associated with your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use MalScan:

  • for unlawful purposes;
  • to upload content you do not own or are not authorized to submit;

  • to test harmful attacks against the platform without permission;

You retain responsibility for any file you upload. By uploading a file, you confirm that you have the right to submit it for analysis and that doing so does not violate applicable law or third-party rights.

MalScan is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, complete accuracy, or that all malicious files will be detected.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MalScan and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, business, profits, or security arising from use of the service.

We may suspend or terminate access to the service at any time if we believe a user has violated these Terms, misused the platform, or created security or legal risk.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of MalScan at any time, with or without notice.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
